NamSeva (நம்சேவா) is a people-to-people service marketplace for Indian cities. It helps Seekers (Sevaarthi) discover and contact independent, verified service providers (Sevakar) for everyday household and personal services such as cooking, housekeeping, child care, elderly care, driving, tutoring, fitness, pet care, event help and more.
NamSeva is a discovery and contact platform only. We do not employ Sevakars and we do not collect or process payment for the services they provide. Any fee for a household or personal service is agreed and settled directly between the Seeker and the Sevakar, off-platform.
Sevakars list services across the following categories. Each provider sets and charges their own rates directly with the Seeker — these fees are not collected or set by NamSeva.

NamSeva charges only for the following two optional digital services on the app. These are the only transactions processed through our payment gateway. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
A Connect is a pre-purchased contact unlock. One Connect lets a Seeker send one contact request to a Sevakar. Connects never expire. Connects are sold in fixed packs:

Pack contents and prices are shown in the app at the time of purchase and may be updated from time to time; the price displayed in the app at checkout is the price charged.
A Featured Listing is an optional paid promotion a Sevakar can purchase to boost their profile's visibility in search and category results for a fixed duration:

Payments for the digital services above are processed securely through our payment gateway, which supports UPI, debit/credit cards and net banking. NamSeva does not store your full card or bank details. Connects and Featured Listings are digital services — they are not a wallet, prepaid instrument, or cash equivalent, and have no cash value.
Connects and Featured Listings are non-refundable once used or activated, except in the limited scenarios (duplicate charge, failed delivery, unauthorised transaction, service discontinued) described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please read that policy for the full terms and the refund request process.
